Operation Smile’s International Student Leadership Conference (ISLC 2025) has once again set the standard for global action. At The Paz Foundation, we are committed to amplifying the message of these young people and are proud to have shared in this inspirational space.
The Theme That Guided the Conference: The North Star
This year, the central theme was The North Star, an ancient symbol of unwavering guidance and direction. This powerful metaphor invited the 400 changemakers to identify the values that sustain their leadership and the path they will take to reach their destination.
We sincerely hope that attending ISLC 2025 helped every participant find their own North Star—and, most importantly, a constellation of friends and collaborators to help them along the way.
